The LWSC Program Options

[1] Lessons & Transportation:

For skiers and boarders of all ability levels--includes bus transportation, 1-3/4 hours of quality class instruction per week and plenty of time to practice what you have learned while skiing or boarding with your friends.



[2] 2+2 Lessons & Transportation:

An extended ski and snowboard lesson program for younger students (grades 4-6) consisting of 2 hours of instruction in the morning and 2 hours of instruction in the afternoon, with time in between for individual skiing or boarding.






 






[3] Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding & Transportation

For boarders (ability Level 4+, able to link turns on intermediate terrain) and skiers (ability 7+).  Come ride/ski in this high energy, challenging program.  This class is not only for those wanting to improve or refine skills and style.  Our experienced instructors will teach you to find optimal snow conditions and improve your riding/skiing on Summit Central’s exceptional terrain.  As snow conditions permit, skiers learn mogul techniques and airtime.  Boarders will learn jumping, grabs and tricks.

For experienced skiers/boarders in grades
7-12 whose parents attest to their ablily level, 7 for skiers, 4 for boarders.

Payment Options

Payment in full may be made by Master/Visa card or a personal check made out to LWSC prior to December ____, 2009.  A $15 non-refundable registration fee is included in the program rates.

Refund Policy

There will be no refund for any student dismissed for disci-plinary reasons.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS AFTER DECEMBER 21, 2009 EXCEPT FOR MEDICAL REA-SONS. THERE IS A $15 NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE.

Conditions of Registration

Registration Rights and Lift Tickets are not transferable.
Students must return to the buses at the proper loading time.  Buses leave Summit Central promptly at 4:00 PM.

The student must ride the bus to which assigned.  Students will be permitted to return from the ski area in a private car only with written consent of the parent/guardian.  The written consent must be presented to the bus chaperone before the bus leaves the loading area in the morning.

No tobacco, liquor, illegal substances, gambling, vulgarity or profanity is allowed.  Buses and students’ belongings are subject to search by LWSC-ESR officers.

Students will be responsible to LWSC-ESR personnel for their conduct and actions at the loading areas, on the buses and at the ski area. Transportation only is a limited program and students must meet the stated qualifications.  There will be no exceptions.

The Application, Release of Liability and Medical Authorization Forms must be completed and signed by the parent/guardian and the student in order for the student to participate in the program.
Violation of any of the Conditions of Registration may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal from the program.  Dismissal from the program is determined by the LWSC-ESR Disciplinary Board.
